THE 2025 DARBY CREEK TRAIL RUN 5K & 10K

The 2025 Darby Creek Trail Run will be located again at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Our friends at Race Penguin have again taken over the race planning and management. Our FLIP team will be in attendance on raceday, and Race Penguin will be donating proceeds to support FLIP and our cancer prevention mission. As always, the race will be a combination of a 5k run/walk along the Greenway Trail & 10k trail run utilizing a combination of multiple trails. The start/finish line will again be located at the Cedar Ridge entrance to the park, just outside of the Redbud Shelter. The 2020 Darby Creek Trail Run Will Go On Virtually!

We’re Going Virtual! We hope you and your family are staying healthy and safe during this challenging time. Due to the current environment, we have ultimately decided to switch our 9th Annual Darby Creek Trail Run from an in person race to a virtual race. Many of our fellow race directors have also made this decision for races taking place in the months of June and July. Health and safety for all those associated with the Darby Creek Trail Run is and has always been our No. 1 priority. The FLIP team has a little girl on our minds who is fighting blood cancer for the second time. DCTR 2019: We Outran Cancer + We Rocked It!

WOW is all that we can say! You OUTRAN CANCER and YOU ROCK. Thank you to everyone that joined us last Saturday for the 8th Annual Darby Creek Trail Run. The energy around the start/finish line was fantastic, the speakers were amazing, the post-race party was bumping and the weather was gorgeous. We were excited to welcome a record-breaking 364 runners this year! With the funds raised we will continue spreading cancer prevention awareness, reinforcing education and inspiring preventative action through events. New Board Member: Mollie Lyden

We are thrilled to introduce our newest Board member of FLIP, Mollie Lyden! We wanted to make sure our FLIP family learned a bit more about Mollie, too, so we embarked on a little interview to shine some light on to her life! Hometown: Austintown, Oh (Youngstown area).
