What/Why: FLIP’s Darby Creek Trail Run- 5k Run/Walk & 10k Trail Run When: Saturday, August 20th.  Registration begins at 7:45am. Races begin at 9am… After party directly when races are complete (RAFFLE PRIZES GALORE) Where: Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park Registration Page: http://www.racepenguin.com/events/darbycreektrailrun/ Race Background/Information: The course will be a 5k and 10k trail run through the picturesque but challenging terrain of Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. The 5k is relatively flat and can be enjoyed by runners and walkers of all skill levels. The 10k is a true challenge ending in a stair climb that has become infamous among the Columbus trail running community. What an amazing time we had participating in the Asian Festival’s Dragon Boat Competition representing FLIP and InHealth Mutual on Sunday, May 22 at Scioto Audubon Metro Park! We had the 4th best time overall, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with the hard work and effort that our team put into making it an exhilarating day for everyone! FLIP’s 2016 Darby Creek Trail Run

IT IS BACK!! The 2016 Darby Creek Trail Run is taking place this year on Saturday, August 20. Early registration has started for the 5th annual 5k and 10k trail run at the scenic Darby Creek Metro Park. The beauty of this race is that the course is challenging, yet incredibly manageable for runners of all ages and fitness levels. Once again, our race will feature an awards ceremony along with other prizes, games and food afterwards at our post race party! The Columbus Lip Sync Battle THANK YOU! A big thank you goes out to everyone for helping us with planning and execution of the first Columbus Lip Sync Battle. Without your support, it would not have been close to the huge success we feel it was. Results: 1st Place: OPOC/AccelWELL- $3,000 to ARC Ohio/Urban and Shelley Meyer Fund for Cancer Research 2nd Place: Navigator Management- $1,000 to 1Girl 3rd Place: Cbus Social Club/Happiest @ Happy Hour- $500 to Besa  Fundraising: With everybody’s amazing support we were able to raise over $10,000 to further FLIP’s cancer prevention mission.
