Welcome to the Summer FLIP! Don’t just float through the rest of the summer… THRIVE with FLIP! We will be connecting you to new ideas, events, COMMUNITY partners, challenges, contests, GIVE AWAYS and a kickn PARTY at then end of summer (so everyone can come see how good we look).
Here’s the plan… Every Monday we will share goals and challenges to start working prevention into our weekly routines. We’ll rotate the features between fight – live – inspire – prevent and they will include:
Summer recipes: tied to local partners, seasonal features, and recipe contests
Weekly prevention tips: for summer activities, shopping lists and prevention around the house
And the Enthusiast Challenge: to encourage at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity every week (ACS guidelines). The challenge is to get as many enthusiasts as we can to track weekly activity (walking, running, biking, swimming, etc and periodic FLIP events). As we get more enthusiasts to join, we’ll increase the incentives and increase the stakes for the end-summer-reward/ giveaway.
