FLIP is a local cancer prevention nonprofit teaming up with InHealth Mutual to host the first Columbus Lip Sync Battle for local charities and corporate organizations. The event is designed to team local charities with local business as a fun way to build stronger ties and community connections, as well as donate the prize winnings to the each respective company’s favorite local charity.
The event will take place on Friday, November 20th from 6:30-9:00pm at Vue Columbus. EventBrite Tickets
The competition will feature 2 rounds of competition. In round 1, everyone will perform. Round 2 is the Championship round where the top 5 finalists will advance and compete for the chance to win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place prizes for their respective charity!
Quick Summary: we are raising money to further FLIP’s cancer prevention mission, hosting a competition for one lucky local charity to win $3,000, and connecting local charities and businesses in a fun and unique way!
How to sign up
Select an entry option:
- Standard Entry Fee: $900
- VIP: (only 3 available) Add $500 to standard entry fee above. Receive 25 general admission tickets, plus an additional 10 VIP tickets, which include: VIP table access, VIP lounge access (elevated viewing area w/ signature cocktails & dessert bar), special recognition as event sponsor.
Corporate Entry Includes:
- Chance to win $3,000 Grand Prize for your charity organization of choice! 2nd Place= $1,000 3rd Place= $500 !!!
- Competition Entry: 1, or multiple performers may represent each team
- 20 private invite tickets for your team to attend event (which may be given away or resold to fundraise. Suggested retail value $25
- 5 tickets for your charity partner
- Private invite tickets include heavy hor d’oeuvres, open bar, door prizes, free parking and live entertainment from Columbus’ most “talented” performers!

Lip Sync Battle Rules
Round 1: Each performance will have a maximum 3 minute performance. Your performance can be a solo act or small group (no more than 4 people; only 2 microphones provided per performance).
Championship Round: The top 5 performances based on scoring from Round 1 will move onto the Finals. Championship performances will be a maximum of 3 minutes. (can be single acts or multiple performers. Can be new performers, or repeat performers from round 1)
Round Scoring Formats: Rounds will be scored using a combination of celebrity judge and crowd scoring (the more people you have attending the higher chance of winning round 1!)
***Song choice is first come first serve. Songs will be submitted beforehand to prevent duplication!

- Heavy hor d’oeuvres, craft beer (thanks to Cavalier Distributing) & wine, door prizes, free parking and hysterically entertaining performances from Columbus’ most “talented” lip singers
- Games, prizes, mingling and bar will be located in a second area
- Proceeds help further FLIP’s programs to increase cancer prevention awareness, reinforce education and inspire preventative action!

Ticket Info
Each corporate organization signing up will receive 25 General Admission Tickets to be distributed how you please! Here are a few options you have:
- Give away tickets to members of your company as an end of the year team reward outing
- Give them away to your donors as a thank you! Better yet, ask your donors to join your performance!
- Enter as a “VIP” organization for 10 extra event tickets. Only 3 VIP slots available!
