For the #OSUtakeover, we wanted to give students what they really want. So we are ecstatic to announce our FLIP off Cancer scholarship and internship that will be awarded at the end of our campaign. We want you to show us what cancer prevention means to you. Whether that be through a video, a story, a collection of pictures or interpretive dance, we want to see your most creative outlets flourish. The entry selected by students that best represents Fight, Live, Inspire, Prevent will win a $500 scholarship. So get your cameras out, get your pencils going and show us how you FLIP off Cancer. Entry deadline is Friday, April 5. Send entries to info@flipnow.org (or contact us to make other arrangements to receive your submission)
Scholarship: The OSU student selected will receive a direct check for $500 to help with tuition, books, paying back loans, etc.
The Internship: The student selected will also earn a position as A FLIP intern for 3 months this summer. (20 hours a week / unpaid / really cool responsibilities and great learning opportunities: ranging from event planning and marketing, to program development and outreach support. This is a great opportunity to make a big impact on our cause and learn some valuable real world skills – trust us, we know what looks good on a resume!)
